"Sree Krishna the Lord of Love" is a book by Baba Premanand Bharati.
The first edition was published by the Krishna Samaj in New York in 1904, quickly followed by a publication by William Rider and Son in London, also dated 1904.

The book is divided into two parts. The first part explains various aspects of Hindu philosophy such as karma, reincarnation and the yuga cycles.
The second part is a synopsis of the tenth skanda of the Bhagavata Purana dealing with Krishna's activities (lila) in Vrindaban.

An interesting anecdote is that Baba Bharati sent a copy of "Krishna" to the renowned Russian writer Leo Tolstoy. In his famous "Letter to a Hindu", Tolstoy quotes Krishna multiple times.
These quotes were factually taken from Baba Bharati's book.

The copy below is a scarce first American edition signed by Baba Bharati during his second visit to the United States.
